At Great Westfield Farm, there is stabling for 17 horses working on a DIY system for owners. This utilises 10 acres of ground around the buildings and is split into 0.5 acre paddocks for grazing over the summer months.

From the end of October each year all horses have to be stabled at night, but do have turnout in large fields surrounding the farm during the day weather permitting. There is separate stabling for each horse or pony, also a menagé for exercise. There are excellent hacking facilities around Westfield with bridleways and farm lanes to choose from.

Haylage is cut and wrapped from the farm in the summer and is used in the winter months when stabled. Shavings and straw are available to use as bedding and each owner is responsible for hard feed for their horses. Parking facilities are available for horseboxes and lorries.
